How to uninstall child-time

You can remove the program remotely from the parent dashboard or manually on the computer itself. Your account and all data are deleted with one button in the dashboard.

Option 1. Remotely from the parent dashboard (easiest)

  1. Open the parent dashboard and sign in.
  2. Go to ⚙️ Account → “How to remove the program from a computer”.
  3. Next to the computer, click “Remove program from this PC”.

If the computer is on and online, within a minute the program removes itself from startup, deletes its files and closes.

Option 2. Manually on the child's computer

  1. Open the folder containing child-time-agent.exe (usually “Downloads”).
  2. Click the folder's address bar, type cmd and press Enter — a command prompt opens.
  3. Type child-time-agent.exe uninstall and press Enter.
  4. Enter the parent account password — this keeps the child from removing the program on their own.

The program closes, removes itself from startup and the watchdog, and deletes its data and file. If it ran under several Windows accounts, repeat in each one.

Older version? If the program keeps running after the command: open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), find “child-time agent” → “End task”. Then delete child-time-agent.exe and the settings folder: Win+R → %LOCALAPPDATA%\child-time-app → Enter → delete the folder.

If you installed the Windows service

If you also installed the service with install-service, remove it from an administrator command prompt: child-time-agent.exe uninstall-service.

How to delete your account and all data

  1. In the parent dashboard, open ⚙️ Account.
  2. Optionally click “Download my data” to get a copy of everything in one file.
  3. In “Delete account”, type your email to confirm and click “Delete account permanently”.

This deletes the account, children's profiles, rules, all activity history, tasks, messages, screenshots and photos. It can't be undone. Trouble? Email 7543515@gmail.com and we'll delete it manually.
