Free parental controls for Windows 11
Windows 11's built-in parental controls need the child to have a Microsoft account in your family group. If that's inconvenient, child-time works with ordinary local accounts and is managed from your phone.
What child-time does on Windows 11 and 10
- Daily screen time limit and a screen lock when time is up.
- Bedtime hours when the computer “rests”.
- Pause specific games and apps — always or outside allowed hours.
- Reports: which apps and how many minutes, by day and week.
- Several children on one PC — each with their own rules (by Windows account).
- Messages from you right on the child's screen; “more time” requests come to your phone and Telegram.
- Tasks for extra time: do something useful — earn minutes.
child-time doesn't filter or track websites — it works with apps and time.
Open, not secret
The child sees the timer, the rules and the messages. Screenshots are taken only if you turn them on, and the child is notified of each one. The program doesn't read window contents or chats.
Installation
Sign up, run the program under the child's Windows account and pick the child — step-by-step guide. Free during the beta, no card, no ads. You can remove it any time — how to uninstall.
