The child-time app on your phone
child-time has no app-store app or APK file — and doesn't need one. The parent dashboard installs on your phone straight from the browser and works like a normal app: a home-screen icon and notifications.
Parent's phone
Android
- Open my.child-time.app in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap “📲 Install” at the top, or open the browser menu (⋮) → “Install app” / “Add to Home screen”.
iPhone
- Open my.child-time.app in Safari and sign in.
- Tap Share (the square with an arrow) → “Add to Home Screen”.
Then allow notifications — your child's messages, time requests and task submissions arrive even when the app is closed. On iPhone, notifications work in the installed app (iOS 16.4 or later).
Child's phone
- In the dashboard open “Kids & limits” and tap “📱 Child's phone” next to the child.
- Send the link to your child in a messenger or show the QR code.
- The child opens the link, signs up and gets their own child mode: chat with you, tasks and their class schedule.
And the computer program? It's only needed on the child's Windows computer — that's what counts the time and locks the screen. How to install.
